Why should you have your boiler serviced regularly?

Central heating boilers and heating appliances should be serviced regularly; at least once a year. While water treatment chemicals will extend the life of your system, they should not be regarded as a means of extending service intervals.

Having your boiler Serviced ready for the winter can save you money while providing you with a better level of heat.

In fact, if you don't have a regular boiler service, you could be spending as much as 10% more on your energy bill.

With a service we check all of the components of the boiler, ensuring they are in proper working condition and that anything corroded or damaged is replaced.

The burner will need regular servicing to ensure that no hazards to health arise from combustion products such as odourless and toxic carbon monoxide (CO) gas. Small doses can cause drowsiness, headaches and nausea, whereas large doses can be fatal.

All our engineers are registered with CORGI or in the case of oil fired appliances by OFTEC.

Paynes Heating Central Heating engineers are able to service any domestic sized boiler that runs off Natural Gas, LPG and Oil. Our engineers are CORGI certified for Natural Gas and LPG appliances and OFTEC for Oil appliances.
